LEGEND

The Snowhunter isn’t just a beast.
In tales, it was called the “White Pursuer,” an invincible humanoid giant that appears where fate decides to make a person the center of important events.

They say it appears only on the night when the frost grips the earth so tightly that one can hear the roots of trees cracking. Then it emerges from the snow-covered thickets—tall, relentless, like the very force of inevitability—and makes its winter meat harvest.

It hunts, and if it has chosen its prey, there’s no escape.

Its appearance always means one thing:
“Someone has taken aim at you—fate, an enemy, or an opportunity.”

In legends, it embodies the immense pressure of external forces that push a person into motion. This can be:
— a great chance,
— a great danger,
— a great challenge.
The Snowhunter doesn’t bring death—it brings an event that cannot be avoided. It follows the tracks and will inevitably reach you.

Old hunters used to say:
“If you hear the rasp of Snowhunter—prepare yourself, for the world has shifted around you.”

CARD MEANING

UPRIGHT POSITION

Short meaning:

Pressure, external influence, being “in the crosshairs,” powerful focus on you, a major event, inevitability.

Extended meaning:

In the upright position, it symbolizes a moment when you find yourself at the center of others’ plans or major circumstances. Someone or something—a person, an organization, an event, fate, even a collective process—has turned its attention to you.

This is a card that says:
— pressure is increasing;
— expectations are placed upon you;
— you have become an important figure for someone;
— the situation is revolving precisely around you.

This influence may be:
Negative — an enemy, criticism, competition, dangerous intentions;
positive — a powerful patron, a chance, recognition, a professional breakthrough.

Either way, it cannot be ignored:
You’re in focus. You’re the central point of events.

In relationships—attention is directed at you, sometimes excessive; strong passion or strong control.
At work—a serious task that will define the future; heightened demands; an important project; oversight from above.

This is a card that whispers:
“Prepare yourselves. You’re in the arena.”

REVERSED POSITION

Short meaning:

Pressure dissipates, lack of focus on you, inconspicuousness, release from major influences, and moving out of the crosshairs.

Extended meaning:

In the reversed position, it loses its power—you’re no longer the center of someone’s attention, plans, or pressure. A major event moves aside, a threat or expectation disappears, and the situation becomes calmer, but perhaps you’re losing some great opportunity.

This means:
— you’re emerging from someone else’s power or control, or from their field of view;
— the danger has passed;
— the attention of people, systems, or fate has shifted to others;
— tension subsides.

In relationships—a retreat from control, a weakening of passion, relief from pressure.
At work—withdrawal from a major task, a certain project is canceled, you regain peace or lose opportunities.

This card says:
“Attention to you has diminished and may disappear. Pressure has eased, and events are moving into another plane, distancing themselves from you.”
