The Steppe Walker

LEGEND
The Steppe Walker is the spirit of the night fields, a shadow that glides among dry grass and hunts those who have lost their way in the silence of solitude.
According to belief, it never attacks a group — only one who has been left without support, without a nearby voice.
Its cry is heard only by loners — as a warning:
“Who’s alone becomes prey.”
Yet in ancient tales, the Steppe Walker also had a second aspect: the one who walks through the night to remind — it’s the pack that survives, not the lone one.
This is a spirit that tests the weak, but saves those who are able to extend a hand to another.
